Hey there! This is so weird to me because I’m not really a writer, more of a talker I guess, so sitting here typing this is just new. First off, for those of you who don’t know me, my name is Esther! I’m currently a Freshman at Kennesaw State University, not really knowing what I want to do with my life but taking each day as it comes. I was born and raised in Georgia but my entire family is full-on Brazilian, which is a major part of who I am and I could never be thankful enough for the crazy big family I have. I worked at Chick-Fil-A for 2.5 years during high school and absolutely loved the platform that gave me. I’m a big people person so I was able to have so many awesome interactions that I couldn’t have had anywhere else. Another kind of thing you should know about me is that I’ve always been the “mom” of the group my entire life. I’m the one always attempting to keep everyone accountable, fed, taken care of, happy, etc. If you haven’t guessed it yet, I’m a 2w3 on the enneagram… The Helper (if you know me, you know how accurate that is). Anyways, the story of how I got to the point of choosing the Race is pretty wild so I’ll leave that for my first blog because I want to go into every little detail with that. I guess the moral of the story is that during this new season of my life, I’m doing everything in my will to follow the course that the Lord has put out for me and remember that my burdens are not always fully on me. I’m so incredibly thankful for this opportunity I’ve been given and am thrilled for what I know the Lord has in store for me throughout this journey. Last but certainly not least, I am SO incredibly thankful for those of you who are wanting to keep up with me and support me. Whether it’s financially, emotionally, mentally, or through prayers. I love you all and appreciate you more than you know!
